Dave Martin from the Biddulph group is organising a seven night coach holiday stay on a Half Board basis in the Giltar Hotel overlooking the South Beach and Caldey Island.
Members can board the coach in Biddulph, leaving their cars in a secure compound. The coach is available on four of the days, opening up a range of destinations
The prices quoted by the hotel are guaranteed, almost two years in advance so allowing for the fact everything seems to be going up all the time, I think they have offered us a very good deal. Certainly, compared to commercial companies like HF and Ramblers, I think the prices quoted are great and don't forget that we will have the added benefit of coach travel to Tenby and back.
A note on walks. There are some outstanding walks such as from Freshwater to Bosherston which we surely must repeat but I have one or two ideas for walks which we have never done on our previous visits.
We have been allocated 27 places in standard rear-facing rooms, a mixture of doubles, twins and singles and 24 places in sea view rooms doubles or twins only.
The likely cost will be about £920-00pp in a standard room and about £995-00pp in a sea view room. This, of course, includes the cost of the coach and gratuities.
